Lewis-Palmer School District #38 is an educational community ensuring achievement
reflects the greatest potential of every student. District #38 is responsible for educating
6,000 elementary, middle, and high school students in nine schools. The district, which
covers 131.5 square miles of Northern El Paso County, serves the communities of Black
Forest, Monument, and Palmer Lake.
Our students, staff, parents, and community members play such vital roles in our continued success, and we are proud to share their exciting achievements and involvement. Lewis-Palmer District 38 is one of the top-performing districts in our state, and our academic, athletic, and artistic programs are among the best Colorado has to offer.
About School District 38 in Colorado Springs
As a District, we have been charged with a very important mission — to educate the children in our community and ensure the success of future generations. School District 38 currently has one High School, two Middle Schools and six Elementary Schools. In August of 2008, District 38 will open its second High School "Palmer Ridge".
